ABOUT US

The Young Israel of White Plains Mikvah was established in 2022 in honor of our beloved Rabbi Alter Shmuel and Rebbetzin Ahuva Greenberg. Thanks to overwhelming community support, the dream of a local mikvah has become a reality for our growing community.

In order to enhance the mikvah experience, our facility offers two preparation rooms (including one soaking tub), radiant floor heating, plush linens, preparation supplies, a secure parking lot, security cameras and a buzzer system at the entrance.

Hours of operation are subject to change due to inclement weather as well as on legal and Jewish holidays and fast days. Please call to confirm updated hours.

The mikvah is closed on Yom Kippur and Tisha B'av.

If you are unexpectedly delayed, we will do our best to accommodate you. Please the Mikvah to request that the mikvah attendant waits for you.

COVID PROTOCOLS

Mikvah Rules and Protocols During COVID-19

Women exhibiting any of the symptoms below within the last 5 days may NOT use the mikvah (this includes fully vaccinated women).
- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
- Sore throat
- Muscle pain
- Chills
- Diarrhea/nausea
- Recent loss of taste or smell
Women who have tested positive for COVID-19 may not attend the mikvah for at least 5 days and must be symptom free for 72 hours.
Anyone exposed to a Covid positive person (contact within six feet for ten minutes or more) may not attend the mikvah if they are experiencing any of the above symptoms. If you are fully vaccinated, asymptomatic and exposed to a COVID positive person, please discuss this with the mikvah attendant.
Strict implementation of social distancing protocols are in place, ensuring no close human contact during the entire mikvah visit.
Payment for mikvah visits or bedikah cloths should be done ONLINE. No cash or credit card transactions will take place at the mikvah.
All users must wash their hands thoroughly in the preparation room and check themselves prior to entering the mikvah pool. Personal touch between the mikvah attendant and users is absolutely prohibited.

The mikvah is located immediately on the left when entering the YIWP parking lot.

Parking space is reserved for women’s use only.
The mikvah is accessible by a ramp or steps from the parking lot. Please ring the buzzer for access.
